On March 18, 2019, the opening ceremony Ujoin Technology Packaging Industry Base of Qidu Pharmaceutical Group was successfully held. Cai Hong who is vice president and secretary general of China Pharmaceutical Packaging Association, Ji Wei who is director and researcher of Shanghai Food and Drug Packaging Materials Testing Institute, He Duanshi who is president of Shandong Pharmaceutical Industry Association, Wang Weijia who is executive vice president and secretary general of Shandong Pharmaceutical Industry Association, Song Zhenbo who is secretary of Linzi District Committee of the Communist Party of China, Liu Zaidong who is member of the Standing Committee of Linzi District Committee and deputy head of district, and other leading experts attended the opening ceremony and laid the foundation for the project. Su Ruigang who is a member of the standing committee and secretary of the Party committee of the economic development zone, presided over the foundation laying ceremony. It is a top 50 innovative and high-growth enterprise, “top four strong industries” focus on cultivating leading pharmaceutical enterprises, pharmaceutical packaging engineering technology center in Zibo City. The main products include packaging materials for IV solutions, aseptic packaging materials for APIs, integrated packaging materials for pharmaceuticals and equipment, medical supplies for hemodialysis, and new packaging materials for biodegradable food and drug, etc. Among them, for non-PVC multilayer co-extrusion film for IV solutions, our company is the first one that is reviewed and approved by infusion film and drugs, breaking through product formulation and key technology. Ujoin Technology packaging industry base project is a key project of Linzi District and Zibo City in 2019, and it is listed in the first batch of optimization projects of Shandong Province’s new and old energy conversion and patent navigation major project library. Ujoin Medical packaging industry base is located opposite to Qidu pharmaceutical science and technology Park, Hongda Road, Linzi District. The project covers an area of 33 acres and a building area of 184000 square meters. It mainly constructs non-PVC co-extrusion film for IV solutions, sterile packaging film and bag for APIs, multi-functional ports and caps for IV solutions, new macromolecular prefillable syringe and pre-filled flush syringe, hemodialysis circulating blood tube and polysulfone membrane dialyzer, new biodegradable food and drug packaging materials of nanotechnology, etc. Nanotechnology new biodegradable food and drug packaging materials and other projects.
All construction projects have independent intellectual property rights, most of the products are exclusive or first listed in China, mainly replacing imported products. The total investment of the project is 1.3 billion yuan, which is divided into two phases. The first phase of the project covers an area of 16.5 acres. Three production workshops and supporting facilities were built in March 2019 and completed in September 2020. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of 3 billion yuan, total profits and taxes of 600 million yuan and make the employment of 2000 people.
